The work of salesmen is one of the most important functions in our company – it is thanks to them that all shops, restaurants and hotels receive our drinks on time.

 

What does the salesman position entail? First of all, being in the very heart of our business – contacting the clients, taking care of the orders, as well as of the right product exposure and promotion of our brands.

Market Development Specialist is a very independent job. The responsibility for the final outcome of the transactions with our customers lies in our hands. We are also a part of a nationwide sales team which consists of several hundred people at various levels of advancement.

 

My career at Coca‑Cola HBC started 10 years ago, and my current position is the result of my work on many sales positions where I had the opportunity to work in Katowice, Rybnik or Wrocław. What can I advise people who would like to develop in the sales area? It is worth to learn from the very beginning! We support our employees from the very beginning by equipping them with the necessary tools to develop and reach as high as possible. The first week is, above all, about providing orientation into the company, i.e. getting to know your responsibilities and the organisation. This is also a lot of hours shadowing a more qualified Business Developer to observe how (s)he works. By the end of the first week you are ready to gradually take on more responsibility for your development in Coca‑Cola HBC. In addition to everyday work on the results, it is also worth to face additional challenges, such as participating in the Sales Academy, which will teach you an effective business model. Another important aspect is that in order to obtain certification, several stores need to be fully prepared in terms of promotional aspects. In addition, it is also worth to engage in development programmes that enable faster promotion and development within the company's structures.
